On Friday 14th September, 2018, teachers and students of the Swaha Hindu College (SHC) attended a prize-giving ceremony, hosted by BPTT. SHC students successfully entered in two categories, essay writing and art. Shivani Maharaj placed second in the essay writing competition and Vritti Ramnarine and Kimberly Ramrattan placed first and third respectively in the art category.
This annual BPTT Art and Essay Competition has allowed students from Swaha Hindu College to showcase their talents nationwide and every year the students have been successful. We wish to congratulate the students on a job well done and Mr. Amarnath Maharaj for his mentoring, as well as Ms. Chenelle Singh for her support.
