Swaha Maha Soorya Pooja 2010

Hardeo Persad that 2010 would be a very challenging year in terms of environmental threats, many devotees of SWAHA have been performing Sri Soorya Devta Vrat since January 2010. This period of penance, fasting, ritual worship and sincere devotion culminates on Sunday 18th April 2010 with Maha Soorya Pooja from 5-7 pm at the Divali Nagar Site, Nasaloo Ramaya Road, Endeavour.

The public is invited to join in the worship Soorya Bhagawan (the Sun). The power of havan, the chanting of mantras, the reciting of powerful stotras (Sanskrit compositions) done en masse and with genuine faith and sincerity can build a protective armour for all. Individuals and families can join in this day of prayer and sacrifice for the nation.
