The PRO of Swaha, Mr. Shivanand Sieusankar, was interviewed by Ronald Chuckaree of Swaha Publications on his background with the organisation and his goals in his new role:
Congratulations to Shivanand and the 2010 Executive of Swaha International.
I would just like to point out that a key area of PR is networking – not only amongst the organisation’s temples, but through forging and maintaining links with other organisations with similar interests and objectives for promoting Sanatan Dharma in our society, namely, youth-oriented organisations.
Whilst it is important to promote all aspects of spirituality through a single vision and mission, it is also necessary to encourage unity amongst organisations. There is a need for strong youth interaction and exchange of information that inspires dialogue, indoctrinates ideals and extends cultural and religious pride. This can be attained through collaborative efforts.
I wish this organisation continued success in all its endeavours.
